The Chicago Initiative was the most ambitious capital campaign in University history, a $2.38 billion success. With the support of more than 117,000 individuals and organizations, the University exceeded its ambitious $2 billion goal by nearly 20 percent. The University’s human, intellectual, and cultural capital were strengthened by significant investment in all areas of this exceptional institution.
