About Alumni Board of Governors Nomination
- Nominations for awards are due by January 8, 2010, at 5 p.m. CT.
- Candidates should be able to commit to attending meetings twice a year in Chicago and participating on committees/task forces.
- The Board consists of up-to 30 members.
- Board membership is open to all geographies and degree units; ideally, Board composition reflects the diversity of the University alumni population.
- New members are elected to a three-year, once-renewable, term that begins on July 1.
- New members will be notified of selection after April 30.
- All nominations and deliberations are kept confidential.
