RISE | Blake Leeper: My Personal Story

6–7 p.m. Ratner Athletics Center 
“The American Bladerunner” shares his inspiring story of confidence and determination. Visit the RISE website for more information. Open to all.


Thursday

Banner Competition

7–10 p.m. Ratner Athletics Center, Auxiliary Gym

UChicago Student-Athlete Day

Samuel G. Freedman  Breaking the Line Talk and Q&A

4 p.m., Logan Center, Performance Penthouse
The award-winning author, journalist, and educator discusses his book  Breaking the Line: The Season in Black College Football That Transformed the Sport and Changed the Course of Civil Rights. Space is limited; advance registration is advised. Free and open to the public.

Book Signing for  Think Like a Freak with Steven Levitt

6:30–7:30 p.m. Quad Club, Dining Room
An opportunity to talk with Professor Levitt and purchase a signed copy of his new book  Think Like a Freak. Reception to follow. Open to all

Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Homecoming Block Party

The Block Party is open to all and free to attend, but registration is required.

The football game is open to all and free to attend.
