Tasneem K. Goodman, AB’97, JD’02, has provided extensive service to both the College and the Law School. She is committed to helping current students and recent graduates succeed, whether through supporting the Jeff Metcalf Internship Program and the University of Chicago Public Interest Program fellowships, or serving as a resource to those seeking legal careers. Goodman helped advise on the future expansion of the Law School’s Women’s Mentoring Program and has served on the reunion committees for her College and Law School classes.

Goodman joined the Alumni Board in 2012 and has served on the alumni awards committee and was appointed cochair for 2013–14 and chair for 2014–15. In 2017–18, she is serving as vice president and chair of the nominating and membership committee.

Goodman has more than 15 years in the legal industry, working with lawyers to grow their practices and helping firms make the most of relationships with their clients, their attorneys, and their recruits. She is currently a managing director with GrowthPlay.

Prior to joining GrowthPlay, she was a partner and the director of marketing at Katten Muchin Rosenman and previously practiced law in the corporate department of Latham & Watkins and in the restructuring group of Kirkland & Ellis. Before her career in law, Goodman worked in the Office of the Reynolds Club and Student Activities, advising student organizations and planning student activities such as Senior Week. Goodman is a lifelong Chicagoan and lives in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood.
