Toussaint currently leads Wells Fargo’s sports marketing soccer portfolio including Major League Soccer and the Mexican national team as well as several team sponsorships. Her sports business background also includes: director of business development for the Boston Blazers, Hispanic partnerships account executive for Major League Soccer, and labor relations coordinator for Major League Baseball.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Toussaint worked at Allied Minds plc directing the company’s marketing efforts and scouting investment opportunities. She also served as an associate director of alumni relations for the University of Chicago overseeing the East Coast. Toussaint started her career at the law firm of Covington & Burling in Washington, DC, first as a legal assistant and later in public relations and marketing. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, she earned her BA in public policy studies from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. She currently serves on the national board of Play Like a Girl! and volunteers as a guardian ad litem.

As a student at UChicago, Toussaint participated in the Summer Links Public Interest Internship (led by Michelle Obama), the Hispanic Association for Cultural Expression and Recognition, Sigma Lambda Gamma, the Neighborhood Schools Program, and was an RA at Burton-Judson. As an alumna, she volunteers for her reunion committee, UChicago Latino Alumni Network, and the Alumni Schools Committee and has hosted externs and interns. She enjoys offering unsolicited advice to current Maroons. Sara is married to R. James Toussaint, AB’00.
