Koren Phillips, AB’05, joined the Alumni Board in 2019. Her local UChicago volunteer leadership has included previous long-term service as Boston Alumni Schools Committee chair and Boston Alumni Club president. She has been an active reunion volunteer, serving on her 1st, 5th, and 10th reunion committees, most recently as Leadership Gift cochair. She also served as the College’s national reunion chair in 2016 and received the Young Alumni Service Award in 2011. While in school, Phillips was a member of the Maroon Key Society, served as chapter president of Alpha Omicron Pi, and on the boards of both the Council on University Programming and the Prospective Students Advisory Committee.

Professionally, Phillips is the administrative director of the Mass General Cancer Center Network, which partners with affiliate hospitals to develop oncology programs in the community. In this role, she is responsible for strategy, business development, and operational oversight of the cancer center’s various relationships. Prior to joining Mass General, she worked at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center and Aetna.

Beyond her UChicago volunteer service, Phillips currently serves as an international vice president on the Alpha Omicron Pi executive board. In her local community, she is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Boston and a member of the Philanthropy Connection, a multigenerational women’s-collective giving organization focused on improving the quality of life for low-resource families in Massachusetts. Her previous volunteer leadership roles include serving as president of the AOII Foundation Board of Directors, as an overseer at the Boston Ballet, and as a trustee at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, Florida. She holds an AB in Spanish language and literature from the College and an MBA from Simmons University’s School of Business.
