A Celebration of Leaders in Philanthropy is an annual event that showcases the impact of philanthropy across the University through exhibits featuring students, faculty, and, in some cases, live experiments.

The fifth annual Celebration of Leaders in Philanthropy kicked off Alumni Weekend 2016 for members of the Chicago Society, Harper Society, Maroon Loyalty Society, and Phoenix Society. Guests enjoyed refreshments and buffet stations while learning how their philanthropy is making an impact across the University and around the world.

Featured speakers included University trustee Steven Kersten, JD’80; Damon Cates, MBA’05, senior associate vice president for Alumni Relations and Development and campaign director; and Brenda Lee Johnson from the Office of Gift Planning.
